Family Fun

Lots of fun and no extra costs. Admission to the Hall and gardens includes:

  • Children’s Play Room with books, Victorian toys, dressing-up clothes and activity zones.
  • Trails to follow around the Hall
  • Woodland Trail
  • Garden Games – croquet, quoits, giant dominoes and pick-up-sticks, wooden stepping path
  • And…lots of space to play in the fresh air to run, play hide-and-seek, explore and picnic.

PS Everyone may need an Archer’s ice cream to cool them off - £1.85 from the Tea Room.

Children’s Events

Easter Fun for Families

Friday – Monday, 6 - 9 April

in the gardens, 10am - 5pm

in the Hall, 2 - 5pm

Join the Easter hunts and have fun in the gardens and Hall.

Make an Easter card and play in the Families' Activity Room

Come in your Easter bonnet - judging daily at 4pm, prizes for winners and runner-ups each day.

 

Come to the Circus

Thursday 9 August, 11am-4pm

Dress as a clown, ringmaster or lion...or think of another circus character for your fancy-dress.

Themed activities in the Hall and gardens (indoors if too wet).

When you need a rest, sit down and listen to circus stories.

£4 adult or child

Drop in any time, no booking required.

Witches and Wizards

Thursday 1 November, 11am - 4pm

Dress up as your favourite character and come along to join in the Halloween fun.

Lots of activities throughout the Hall and gardens (indoors if too, too horrid!) and story telling for small and large children.
