Kiplin is fortunate to have a number of
portraits painted by G.F. Watts, a remarkable Victorian artist and a Talbot
family friend.
Wilton House.
Admiral Carpenter's sister, Gertrude Talbot,
married the 13th Earl of Pembroke of Wilton House near Salisbury, Wiltshire,
in 1870. Kiplin has three portraits of Gertrude, including one by G.F.
Watts.
