Volunteers
Kiplin Hall could not survive without its team of volunteers. Around 90 people give their time weekly, monthly or just as and when they can. A number of these people have been part of the team since the Hall re-opened, following refurbishment, in 2001.
In 2012 we need
- additional room stewards for afternoon openings
- guides for groups
- gardeners to work in the Walled Garden weeding, tidying and selling produce mornings and/or afternoons Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday
- Help in the kitchen and Tea Room
There a number of roles in which you may become involved, including:
- Conservator, working with the collections, historic library and archives
- Education Facilitator, helping schoolchildren with hands-on activities
- Gardener
- General Helper to assist behind the scenes
- Groundsperson
- Guided Tour Leader in the house and/or gardens
- Helper at Friends’ or Hall events
- Researcher
- Room Steward
- Tea Room helper
- Ticket and Shop Sales Person
