Mon 11 and Tues 12 February, 6 & 8 pm

Torchlight Ghost Tours – Learn about Kiplin Hall’s ghostly inhabitants! Adult £8, Child £5 (6+ and not TOO sensitive!) including refreshments, maximum 25 per tour, booking essential. Bring a torch!

Sun 17 and Sun 24 February, 2 – 4 pm

Snowdrop-In – Take a stroll through snowdrops and aconites; gather ideas for next winter and spring with an illustrated talk by Garden Historian, Val Hepworth and enjoy hot chocolate and other refreshments. Also plants for sale. Adult £6, Concession/Friend/Volunteer £5, Child free.

Victorian Life in Victorian Painting – Illustrated talk by art historian, Sandra Pollard. Admission £7, Friends/Volunteers £6, including refreshments. Booking essential.

Songs from the Shows – Brighten up a winter afternoon with some favourite songs, presented by Richmond Operatic Society (a fund-raising event organised by the Friends of Kiplin Hall). Admission £8, Concession/ Friend/Volunteer £7, including afternoon tea. Booking essential

21 – 24 March,
2 – 5 pm

Easter Eggsperience for families in the Hall and grounds. Treasure hunt, colouring activities and more! Come in your Easter hat; bring a hard-boiled egg to decorate – judging of hats and eggs daily at 4 pm.

The North Yorkshire Vintage Machinery Society will display items from their collections on Easter Sunday 2 – 5pm.

Friday 11 April
10 am – 4 pm

Watercolour and Pastel Workshops
Led by Ripon artist Heather Dormer (NDD, ATD), an experienced teacher who offers guidance at all levels in both media. She will also demonstrate techniques to illustrate the vibrancy of using pastels. Please bring your own materials if you have them (**materials provided, if not – but please let us know when you book**), and a packed lunch. Tea/coffee provided.
Minimum 10 and Maximum 20 participants. Booking essential. £25 per person

Festive Wreaths and Garlands Workshops
Each workshop will include a talk and demonstration on making these attractive Christmas decorations, followed by your own productions. Led by Caroline Harvey, formerly of the Constance Spry Flower School. Please bring aprons, scissors, note book, pen and packed lunch, and, if possible, a small amount of plant material. Tea/coffee provided. Book early – very popular sell-out last year!
